Treatments Offered

Female patient receiving chiropractic treatment

Manual Chiropractic Adjustments:

Manual chiropractic adjustments involve applying a small push to a stiff joint, resulting in a ‘popping’ or ‘cracking’ sound. Manual adjustments can be useful for gaining mobility in a joint or area of the body and are usually painless and comfortable.

Male patient receiving soft tissue therapy

Soft Tissue Therapy:

Soft tissue therapy includes a wide range of techniques including massage, manual mobilisation and stretching. Soft tissue therapy allows the relaxation of tight or painful muscles, and can be relieving for muscle pain. It can also be useful as a more gentle alternative to manual adjustments.

Female patient receiving TENS therapy

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) Therapy:

TENS therapy is used either to decrease pain in an area of the body, or to stimulate muscle contraction. This can be useful for chronic pain, or for weak or disused muscles which may benefit from contraction to help blood flow or muscle health.

Male patient receiving ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound Therapy:

Ultrasound therapy is used for heating soft tissues at a deeper level than can be achieved with a heat pack or a hot water bath. This can be useful as part of caring for localised chronic inflammation, and is available using our therapeutic ultrasound machine.
